Sri Rama Navami-Significance!

Sri-Ramnavami is dedicated to the memory of Lord Rama. It occurs on the ninth day (navami). The festival commemorates the birth of Rama who is remembered for his preperous and righteous reign. Ramrajya (the reign of Rama) has become synonymous with a period of peace and prosperity. Mahatma Gandhi also used this term to describe how, according to him, India should be after independence

Sri Ramnavami occurs at the beginning of summer when the sun has started moving nearer to the northern hemisphere. The Sun is considered to be the progenitor of Rama's dynasty which is called the Sun dynasty (Raghukula or Raghuvamsa, Raghu means Sun and Kula or Vamsa mean familial descendant). Rama is also known as Raghunatha, Raghupati, Raghavendra etc. That all these names begin with the prefix Raghu is also suggestive of some link with Sun-worship. The hour chosen for the observance of the lord's birth is that when the sun is overhead and is at its maximum brilliance. In some Hindu sects, prayers on Ramnavami day start not with an invocation to Rama but to Surya (sun). Again the syllable Ra is used in the word to describe the sun and brilliance in many languages. In Sanskrit, Ravi and Ravindra mean Sun

Shri Ramnavmi Celebration

Aum Sairam

During the Ramnavami celebrations Sri Sai Baba e used to give two bundles of one-rupee notes to Dada Kelkar and Bade Baba, to be distributed to the poor after the celebration.

Similarly, the naivedya offered to Him everyday by his devotees at the Dwarkamai was also given away to those who lived by it, fakirs and vairagis who lived in nearby hutments. To each of them Sri Sai Baba gave a quarter rupee per day. Later Sri Sai Baba left Dwarkamai for the chawdi in this usual pomp and displayed by the procession of his devotees. He slept there for the night in the right wing of the chawdi, which is now enclosed by railings and separated from the left wing where some of the devotees slept. On the days on which Sri Sai Baba slept in the mosque, Bhagat Mahalsapaty invariably slept there with him.

When it was time for Sri Sai Baba to leave for chawdi the usual routine was as follows: Abdul and Radhakrishnamai removed, with their own hand, even the pig dung, swept the road and sprinkled it with water and drew ornamental designs [rangoli] on them in white. Then they spread a cloth all the way from the mosque to the chawdi for Sri Sai Baba to walk on. Then Tatya Patil came to the mosque and invited Sri Sai Baba to the chawdi. When Sri Sai Baba got ready to step down from the mosque Pilaji Gurave would begin to play on his shehnai.

There were also a whole band of devotees that started bhajan [chorus chanting of devotional songs.] Then Shamsudin [Shyamakarna] the horse went before Sri Sai Baba; behind the horse, the devotees carried the palanquin. Though the horse and the palanquin were offered to Sri Sai Baba for use he never mounted them but always walked behind them. Sri Sai Baba’s shoes were placed in the palanquin. The ceremonial umbrella was held over his head as he walked towards the chawdi.

When Sri Sai Baba arrived at the corner of the masjid, He would stop there in front of the Hanuman temple and make mystic signs. Then he would proceed to chawdi.

Sai- A Man Of His Words!

Aum Sairam

The presence of Sri Sainath in the lives of millions today stands as a testimony to His continued existence. Each prophecy and promise made by Sri Sai Baba while He remained in His mortal body has turned out to be true and His words can be found to be true to this day. Sri Sai Baba had clearly said "My bones will speak and discuss the welfare of those who will put their full faith in me even after my passing away". On another occasion He had commented about the village of Shirdi, "People will crawl to this place like ants in the future". Blessing Shri Hemadpant to write a book on His life stories, Sri Sai Baba had said, "People who are naturally attracted to me will feel happiness and joy on hearing my name and stories". When a devotee was worried as to what will happen to him once Sri Sai Baba passes away, Sri Sai Baba clearly told him not to worry and that "He will be ever present with him and whenever the devotee called him with love, He will solve his difficulties". When another devotee thought that he had seen Sri Sai Baba in a dream ordering him to do something and went to confirm the same, Sri Sai Baba said, "No that was no dream, it was me telling you personally; I require no doors to enter any place".

All the above incidents listed in Shri Sai Satcharitra are happening even today. The only difference is that they are happening all over the world! There is another story in Shri Sai Satcharitra of a Mrs. Saptanekar being followed by a fakir offering help to carry the water pitchers and she later discovered that the fakir was none else than Sri Sai Baba when she saw His picture. A similar incident happened in Connecticut, USA where a stranger continuously visited an American lady. On every visit the stranger told her one incident from her life that only she was aware of. On the last visit she started to get error and started to do some research and stumbled on the picture of Shirdi Sri Sai Baba on the Internet.

Strangely enough the stranger who visited her a few times turns out to be none other than the great master himself and more curiously the stranger has not visited her since the time she stumbled on the picture! Here dictum's of Sri Sai Baba, "Wherever my devotee may go in this whole wide world, I am aware of his or her life and will draw him or her to me, when it is time, like a sparrow tied with a thread to its leg" and "We have been together for 72 generations, only I know them all and you do not remember", comes out to be true.

For one who follows Sri Sai Baba with love and devotion, it is necessary to reemphasize their faith and evolve patience to overcome the curves that life pitches in from time to time. Losing courage and thinking that Sri Sai Baba has deserted them will only bring unbearable agony and pain. Like a parent, Sri Sai Baba can never desert his children. At the same time a mother will not refrain from giving a bitter pill to her child if it is needed! True to his words, Sri Sai Baba works tirelessly for his ever-growing children and the children need to be conscious of the path laid by the master and make every attempt to walk on it. Sri Sai Baba himself has said that the path is not easy, so why cry when the going gets tough? Remember Sri Sai Baba with a pure heart and true to His words, He will carry you safely through life's tough situations.

Life Is Living For Others!

Aum Sai Ram!

Part:1

Life is living for others.
Life is watching the flowers bloom adding the beauty to the nature
and learn to be beautiful intrinsically.
Life is observing the birds fly and learn to give freedom to others.
Life is watching the sunrise and sunset and learn to believe
that in everyone's life there are instances of good and bad times…

but after every dark phase there is a ray of sunshine.
Life is seeing the river flow and understanding that
no matter what happens 'Life Goes On'.
All of us complain that life is disgusting, but who is to be blamed?
It's our own actions , the circumstances that we create for ourselves that make life difficult for us.
We are the architects of our own life and
it's in our hands to make it worth living by all the good deeds
or destroying it by giving birth to the evil thoughts within us.
You should live life in a manner that when you leave this planet,
there is a smile on your face and a sense of satisfaction
and people around you have moi
and people around you have moist eyes with a feeling that they are losing the most precious friend
and they remember you for all the good things that u have done for humanityfor the rest of their lives.

And if you were able to do all this, you have reached the acme
and you are close to the ruler of the 'Universe',
the one who sent you to this earth
to accomplish the mission of spreading Love and Happiness,
The one who now wants you back!!!

Part:2

Life by Monica Goyal

Life is a wonderful gift we have got from 'God'.
Life is a joy which we can give others as well as ourselves.
Life is simple but we ourselves make it complicated.
Life is beautiful and it's in our hands to retain the charm.
Life is a zebra crossing with dark and bright patches.
Life is a wonderful experience in itself.
Life is only giving without expecting anything.
Life is spreading the air of happiness all around others.
Life is lending an ear to all those who need to open out their heart.
Life is sharing sorrows of all those who need to lean on your shoulder.
Life is offering a helping hand.
Life is reaching out to people.
Life is loving each and every living creature.
Life is not about spending time on this planet andcounting the number of years you have been able to survive.
It is by how much you have learnt on this planet.
How much you have been able to give others.
And how much you have been able to understand them.
Life is living for others.

Power Of Prayers!

Aum Sairam

The highest privilege ever afforded to man is the power of prayer...
...then why don't we pray?

The right to talk to the highest potentate in all the universe...
...then why don't we pray?

The most powerful force accessible to man is the potential of prayer...
...then why don't we pray?

The greatest longing in the heart of God is to talk to His children...
...then why don't we pray?

Nothing is impossible to those who pray...
...then why don't we pray?

No man ever fainted or faltered who gave himself to prayer...
...then why don't we pray?

Every sin is forgiven, every stain is washed clean, all guilt diminished to the man who prays... ...then why don't we pray?

Hell moves farther away, Satan flees from the man who prays...
...then why don't we pray?

Anointing will come, mountains will be moved, valleys made smooth, rivers made crossable, the inaccessible made accessible, the impossible made possible, dreams come through to the man who prays...
...then why don't we pray?

God said that men ought always to pray...
...then why don't we pray?

Paul encouraged prayer without ceasing...
...then why don't we pray?

The riches of heaven are open to those who pray in His name...
...then why don't we pray?

Everyone can pray, the young, the old, the rich, the poor, the strong, the weak, the child, the aged, the sinner, the prisoner, in any nation, in any language, all can pray...
...then why don't we pray?

We Can't Escape God!

Most of our obstacles would melt away if, instead of cowering before them, we should make up our minds to walk boldly through them.

We can't escape problems and negativity. Escaping just brings denial and suppression we continue to carry the problem with us. Ironically, it is our lack of acceptance and resistance to the problem that creates the pain. Resistance builds up an energy wall or block that, if not discharged, gets suppressed into the body. These blocks identify places where we have not enough understanding or love.

For health, we must work through what we seek to avoid. How do we do this? We can love parts of ourselves that we don't like. We can seek the lessons we are being invited to learn through the problem. We can examine our beliefs and seek to see different perspectives and a bigger picture. As our perspectives grow, more of life makes sense and has meaning.

The Lord is a good psychologist: He knows the way our minds run. Turmoil can be the Lord's way of tapping us on the shoulder and saying, "Don't forget me".

Golden Truth!

Aum Sairam

Understand and digest the following points Golden Truths and check up how far we are following. As declared by Sri Sai Baba. "Simple remembrance of SAI,SAI will help us to reach our destination.

The Lord Himself has settled the nature of His worship for every age. Chanting of His Holy name is the prescribed sadhana for the present age. This is the age of sins sorrows, natural and man made calamities. Jealousy and Hatred dominate the human mind.

The following facts useful to everyone.

The Holy Name is the Divine medicine to save us from the chronic disease of worldliness.

The Divine Name is the most powerful remedy for delivering one from the sinister influences of infatuation and ignorance.

Taking recourse to constant chanting of the Divine Name one becomes eligible for the grace of the Lord.

The Divine medicine strikes at the very root of a terrible suffering of this repeated cycle of birth and death.

The Holy Name is not a mere composition of Sanskrit alphabets, It is pregnant with many mystic potentialities. It attracts the Utterer and the Hearer. This Divine Nama is the only wealth that multiplies when stolen.

When the dying Ajamil by unintentionally uttering the Name of Sri Hari while calling his son by His name, could attain Vaikunta Dham, how much more beneficial would the result be if the Name itself is chanted with Implicit faith.

The glory of the Divine Name lies beyond the scope of Human intelligence and arguments.

If one believes in God, he must necessarily believe the word of God as well. Mere lip service either to the Lord or His Saying i.e. the Shastra's, would not serve the real purpose.

Allah Malik

Eleven Desires must always remain in a man's Heart

1. The desire for Self-Liberation.
2. Aversion for sin.
3. Love for God.
4. Indifference to the materialistic world of infatuations and bondage's.
5. Capacity to control one's senses.
6. Noble conduct.
7. Purity of Heart.
8. Freedom from greed.
9. Longing for the teachings of your Guru.
10. Yearning for God's grace.
11. Capacity to sacrifice.

Judge Not

You judge others as a way of protecting yourself, to keep them away from you so you won't get close to them and get hurt. But we have told you that you don't need to think about your safety.

You are safe, and an overwhelming thought pattern of concern about your safety can bring the very thing you fear into your life.

The angels explained that we draw to us whatever we think about. If I obsessively think about physical or emotional danger, I create a climate in which my worst fears come true. With practice, I began noticing the moment when I'd judge other people.

I began releasing my fears to the angels, and felt my judgmental habits gradually disappear.

Promise Yourself

To be strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of every thing and make your optimism come true
To think of the best, to work for the best and expect only the best
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature a smile
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to critisize the mistakes of othersTo be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble

UGADI

The first Holy festival which marks the beginning of the New Year, new month and new day for the Hindus falls on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. On this very day Lord Brahma created the Universe. Therefore for Hindus, this day carries special importance. The day is celebrated with an auspicious bath, followed by decorating the doorway with a 'toran', performing ritualistic worship and hoisting the Dhwaja or Gudhi.

It is known as Gudhi Padwa (Maharashtra), Ugadi (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh). [In other parts of country it is celebrated during Nau Roz (Kashmir), Baisakhi (Punjab), Cheti Chand (Sindhi), Naba Barsha (Bengal), Goru Bihu (Assam), Puthandu (Tamil Nadu), Vishu (Kerala)]

Aspiration and Desire

Aum Sairam

It is most important for us to try to develop a genuine hunger for Sri Sai Baba's love, Sri Sai Baba's compassion and Sri Sai Baba's blessings. There are two ways to increase ones inner hunger. One way is to cry for Sri Sai Baba like a helpless child crying for his mother. The other way is to offer ones actions to Sri Sai Baba while keeping a cheerful attitude. With both these ways the seeker will make real inner progress.

Desire is a wild fire that burns and burns and finally consumes us. Aspiration is a glowing flame that secretly and sacredly uplifts our consciousness and finally liberates us. Thirst for the highest is aspiration. Thirst for the lowest is annihilation. Desire is expectation. No expectation, no frustration. With desire killed, true happiness is built. Aspiration is surrender. Surrender is man's conscious oneness with Sri Sai Baba's will.

We aspire through proper concentration, proper meditation and proper contemplation. Aspiration covers both meditation and prayer. There were many saints who did not care for meditation; they realized God through prayer. He who is praying feels he has an inner cry to realize Sri Sai Baba, and he who is meditating also feels the need to bring Sri Sai Baba's consciousness right into his being. The difference between prayer and meditation is this: when we pray, we talk and Sri Sai Baba listens, and when we meditate, Sri Sai Baba talks and we listen.

We are a seeker. When we pray, concentrate and meditate, we have to feel that each second is infinitely more important than we thought it was previously, before we entered into the spiritual life. This second we can use either for meditation or for gossip or for cherishing impure and undivine thoughts.

When we consciously aspire in all parts of our being, we will be able to accelerate the achievement of liberation.

Nothing Needs To Be fixed

Tolerance does not do anything, embrace anyone, champion any issue. It wipes the notes off the score of life and replaces them with one long bar of rest. It does not attack error, it does not champion truth, it does not hate evil, it does not love good.

As we understand it, the spiritual journey is not about becoming perfect. It’s about acceptance, releasing judgment, and embracing everything in wholeness.

This is a great challenge for our personality. We have grown up comparing ourselves to others, always judging how we are better and worse than those around us. And many of us are very good at finding fault with ourselves.

If we release judgment, then nothing needs to be fixed, including you. Explore inviting your soul to help you accept all that is and experience a whole new way of living.

Wherever you are is always the right place. There is never a need to fix anything, to hitch up the bootstraps of the soul and start at some higher place. Start right where you are.

Spend time alone in nature.

Sounds and smells of nature are invisible,
so they take your mind to the invisible realm of spirit,
where things vibrate higher and faster than matter.
There are healing properties in nature.

Also, there are very real nature angels.
You can ask these nature angels to heal you.
Being in nature helps you to adapt to the natural rhythm of the earth,
and since timing and cycles are parts of everything,
you become more in sync with the rhythm of life.

At the angels urging, I ventured away from my desk more and began spending my lunch hour outdoors. The fresh air, sunshine, and fragrance of flowers all help me to meditate on deeper levels. I sit outside and ask the nature angels to surround me.

Light of Truth

Aum Sairam

What is new in the world? Nothing. What is old in the world? Nothing. Everything has always been and will always be.

What comes and goes is a form of illusion, the creation of man's mind and yet at the time it all seems so important, absorbing his attention and distracting him from the truth and the reality of life. A house must be built on solid foundations if it is to last. The same principle applies to man; otherwise he too will sink back into the soft ground and becomes swallowed up by the world of illusion.

That is why the divine Sri Sai Baba is here today, to act as your guide and teacher. He is here on earth for your benefit, to give all mankind the opportunity to learn the truth and establish solid foundations for spiritual growth. It is an opportunity, which you may never experience again, and you should take it while it is there. The divine Sri Sai Baba shows you the way but leaves you to exercise freely your individual will lead to liberation.

With every tide you witness ebb and flow. So it is with life, the ebb and flow of opportunities. Yet another opportunity is offered to you today.

What is that opportunity? It is the chance to move away from the present pattern of life where you live in the twilight world of illusion, a state that constantly obscures the truth and can never bring lasting happiness.

Awaken and see the light. Seize the opportunity, which you now have and break away from the grooves of the past. Follow and experience the utter bliss, which comes from union with Sri Sai Baba.

Learn the truth, live in truth, open the heart and let your life be filled with love, then you will experience absolute joy, peace and the unity of all mankind.

Products of Ego!

When you are attached to matter in thought, you stay attached to the products of the ego mind, and thus stay attached to the ego. There is no way of escaping this law. Mind upon matter is the ego mind.

My guardian angels made it clear that there is nothing wrong with material items. Matter is neutral, according to the angels. They also realize that we humans have material needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter. However, when we overly contemplate material items such as continuously thinking about money or possessions we are focused on our lower self-nature, instead of our higher self.

Sri Sai Baba And Tapas

Aum Sairam

There is a general fear and misconception among most of the people that Tapas [Penance] is a very rigorous ordeal to observe by subjecting body and mind to great pain like going and living in a secluded forest away from the people, exposing to extremes of climate like severe heat of Summer, Winter, Rain and observing fasting and celibacy to cultivate rigid discipline of mind to obtain God's Grace and Moksha [Liberation].

But you can be rest assured that it is not so, if you observe closely the method advocated by Lord Krishna in Shree Bhagawad Gita Chapter 17 [Shradha Trya Vibhaga Yoga].

Our Sadguru Sri Sai Baba in recent times is the living example of how an individual should be as per the pictures advocated in Shri Bhagwad Gita Even though it is not necessary for great liberated and realized souls like Sri Sai Baba to observe all these rigidly as they have already attained the highest goal being in even blissful existence, with love and compassion towards there devotees and followers to set an example our Sri Sai Baba has practically lived amidst us and demonstrated how easily it is to observe and try to attain solution in day to day life and the Tapas the method of which is detailed hereunder for our benefit.

The Tapas are of three kinds 1. Body 2 Speech and 3 Mind.

1. In Body Tapas there are five principle to observe and this will help the aspirants in earning the grace of them and by surrendering them heartedly and unconditionally, our ego and pride will subside. "Savacham" [cleanliness].

The cleanliness of mind and surroundings. You can active them by maintaining the body and surroundings, clean, eating soft satvic food to develop satva nature. This will help to cultivate always device and godly thoughts and to avoid distracting bad mundane ones "Arjavam" [Behavior]. In your thought word & deed you should practice ahimsa and you should be straight forward in all your actions and dealings, and avoid malice towards fellow beings.

"Brahamacharyam" : It means that you should observe celibacy in all your
actions, you should avoid bad thoughts and deeds, lustful thinking, undue indulgence in sex and should always engage and keep the pure thought of Brahama [God] in mind.

AHIMSA [Non – Violence] Avoid harming any creature in thought, word and deed and develop godly knowledge [Jnana] as keeping yourself in dark [Ajnana] is also considered to be the highest from of Himsa. (Violence)

2. Vachaka Tapas [Speech] whatever you speak should always be truth, harmless, nice soundings and doing good to others. You should also constantly practice reading religious books like Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagawad Gita, and others and accumulate the knowledge therein, in addition to Ahaganana [Meditation and Namajappa].

3. Mental [Mind] Manasik Taps :- your mind must be pure and develop satvi nature and your face appearance and behavior should reflect the calmness of your mind. Your thinking should be clean and mind should be controlled and directed to concentrate your thoughts towards paramathama only by avoiding the thoughts of external objects. In a nutshell your mind should be pure, your behavior must be satvic and you should maintain calm and silence in word, thought and deed. If you observe closely the day to day activity and life of our Sri Sai Baba throughout, you can easily gather how easily he has accomplished the above objectives with effortless ease. Even though he is paramapurasha and Jevanmuktha, who is above all the worldly consideration He has lived so amongst us to practically demonstration how easy to conducting the tapas in whole of your day to day life even after attending to duties and leading ordinary life.

You can achieve all the above provided you have unbending faith in your Sadguru Sri Sai Baba and prostrate before him by surrounding your thought word and deed and simply put into practice what he has shown by his example for the elevation of the soul of all His followers.

All conflict is inside your mind.

Aum Sai Ram.

Any conflict you see or experience in the outside world is a projection of your ego.

In truth, the world is completely at peace and you project your fear of peace onto the world. You don't want to resolve your inner conflict, but you do want to get it away from yourself.

So, you project it onto other people and think that they are the ones who are causing you discomfort. Other people are neutral, blank slates and you color them with your own meaning and definitions.

Then, you react to them as if these coloration's and definitions were real. Other people, in turn, treat you in the way that you expect, in a self fulfilling prophecy.

As the angels explained this, I realized how often I had allowed fear to create miserable times for me. But always, I had the power to choose the thoughts and feelings I ascribed to all situations.

Baba’s Day [The King among Saints]

Aum Sairam

May This Thursday [Baba's Day] Bring You Strength, Good luck, Happiness, Success and Joy

Sansar ka Badshah Sai sab ka pyara
Andhon ki duniya mein Sai ujiyaraa

[Our beloved Sri Sai, You are the King among Saints; the light for the world of the blind]

Just wonder what a stranger would see as he walks into Saidarbar in Shirdi today. The vibrant idol of Lord Sainath sitting on the throne lovingly glancing at those blessed visitors. In no time, the lively marble statue will attract any stranger and one cannot miss Talim's artisan ship in etching the minutest of the details including the tear on Sadguru Sainath's kafni. As the curiosity builds, the Sadguru is bathed, dressed, and scented. To top everything, the Crown is placed on the divine head and thus shines the King. Unperturbed by all the meddling, the Lord God of Shirdi continues to sit on the throne in Shirdi as well as on the hearts of those miles and miles away. The one that wore a torn rag is decorated with jewelry and diamonds!

Saints are the repositories of virtues. The hallmark of Saints includes benevolence, charity, compassion, and poverty. Sri Sai Baba possessed all the above to their fullest. His humility is as well known as His willingness to guide those in distress. Although a perfect siddha possessing all the eight powers, He humbly said, God is Great, as if he was only a saadhaka, thus giving humility a very new dimension.

It is said that at any given time, the spiritual world is always guided by Perfect Masters whose function is to awaken the spiritual longing in those swept away by the material current. Hailed by even those Perfect Masters, the Saint of Shirdi remains the most unique of all, the Perfect of the Perfect.

Let us on this beautiful Thursday remind ourselves of that benevolent caretaker longing to lead us from the convenient facts to everlasting contentment, Truth!

Bow To Sri Sai - Peace Be To All
May Baba Be Always With You

11 Minutes With Sri Sai!

11 minutes with SAI BABA

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to Me. And although My to-do-list is long, I am after all...God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.

3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on My list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It's simple. You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But there's one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you can't see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust Me; you wouldn't want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven't heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, rush.

9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way youdo, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by me for one reason only -- to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Don't ever forget......

11. THINK OF OTHERS:
Why I am Thinking About You? Why you are Thing about me? , But not about other People and Creatures in the world. You are Not You Always; you are not you when you are with me or Thinking of me. You Being You When You don't need me. I will be watching you always. As we both think of each other, you also think of other as everybody is related to you from me. Listen ,Suffer for others as I Listen to You and Suffer for you.

How Sri Sai Baba Works!

Faith in Sri Sai Baba slowly leads one to believe that Sri Sai Baba is behind the things done or undone. This realization works easy when the things happen to one's satisfaction while it falters if things are not pleasing. The path to the complete surrender at Sri Sadguru's Lotus feet chops away the difference between the pleasant and unpleasant.

If one completely understands how Sri Sai Baba's intent or sankalp translates to tangible actions to its minutest details, contentment naturally fills in the heart and as the consequence equanimity. Rare and great are such souls. Or, if one would say that somehow Sri Sai Baba will do it, is indicative of a blind faith in Sri Sadguru's disposition. This is a feeling that rain or shine, it is Sri Sai Baba. Any trace of ignorance in this regard will be washed away in the constant company of the Sri Sadguru. But judgments of others actions such as what does he or she think he or she is doing? Its all Sri Sai Baba's doing, is blatant arrogance. One can easily understand this feeling with a little bit of contemplation. These thoughts should be nipped in the bud, as they are signs of spiritual falling.

Sri Sai Baba didn't materialize anything out of thin air. Sri Sai Baba's miracles happen through people and situations in our surroundings in the most inconspicuous ways. Miracles of Sri Sai Baba do not take place as something falling from the sky. We experience it through mercy, compassion, and protection from those around us in a natural way. We pray to Sri Sai Baba, Oh Sai Baba! I need money. I am in difficulties. We offer naivedya to Sri Sai Baba and go to bed, but we do not see Sri Sai Baba keeping a lakh rupees under the pillow! Someone will come to us and suggest a solution to our problem. Sri Sai Baba Himself said, "Not a single leaf moves without my order". When the wind blows, the leaves on the tree move. When even the movement of a leaf from an inanimate tree requires Sri Sai Baba's order, His intent and grace, how can we think that everything is in our hands? When this awareness crops in us, the ego that makes us think, we are doing something, we have to do it, we have to accomplish and we have accomplished because we have done something, will vanish. The realization that He does everything. And we are not capable of doing anything is called as Complete Surrender. However, this should not become the dry and wry philosophy of uttering around. Its all Sri Sai Baba's sankalp, what do I have to do? He has done it. The cognizance of complete surrender should remain as just an inspiration, a background to the pursuit of our desires, ideals, and trials. Unless we get to completely experience the intent of Sri Sai Baba in every action, we should not use the term complete surrender for our convenience.

Accept What Ever Comes

Aum Sairam

Baba said, “Our Karma is the cause of our happiness and sorrow; therefore put up with whatever comes to you. Allah [God] is the sole Dispenser and Protector, always think of Him. He will take care of you. Surrender to His feet with body, mind, wealth and speech, i.e. completely and then see what He does” in Shri Sai Satcharitra, Ch. XXXIV.

There was a learned man who, for several years, longed to be shown the way to God. Everyday, he sat apart from men and prayed that he might be brought into contact with a Sage, a Saint, a Know-er of Truth.

One day, as he sat in prayer, he heard a Voice say, “Go to such and such a place, and you will meet the man who will show you the way to blessedness and bliss!”

Great was his joy when he heard the words. Forthwith he went to the place indicated by the Voice. He was surprised to find a man, humble, simple, poor, with tattered cloths on his body, his feet soiled with mud. The learned man looked all around him, but found no other man seated there. So, to this man, he said, “Good morning to you!”

Quietly, answered the poor man, “I have never had a bad morning!”

“God give you good luck!” said the learned man.

“I have never had ill-luck!” answered the poor man.

The learned man’s astonishment grew. “May you be happy!” he said to the poor man.

To which the poor man answered, “I have never been unhappy!”

“I am unable to understand,” said the learned man, “Pls explain it all to me.”

“Gladly,” said the poor man. “You wished me a good morning. I have never had a bad morning. For, if I do not get food to eat, I praise God. If it rains or snows, or if the weather is foul, I still praise God. If I am despised and have no human company, I praise God! So I have never had a bad morning, never an evil day.

“You wished me good luck: but I have never had ill-luck. For I always dwell at the Lotus Feet of the Lord: and I know that whatever God sends to me is the very best that can ever happen to me.

I cheerfully accept everything that comes to me – health or sickness, prosperity or adversity, joy or sorrow – as a gift from God. I have never had ill-luck.

“You wished me happiness. I have never been unhappy. For the deepest longing of my heart is to live in union with God’s Will, and I have so entirely yielded my will to the Will of God, that what God wills, I will!”

Astonished, the learned man asked, “What if God’s Will should cast you into hell?”

“Cast me into hell!” exclaimed the poor man. “God is too loving to do that. But even if He sends me to hell, I should have two arms with which to embrace Him. One is the arm of humility, the other of love. With them I should so embrace Him that He would have to go to hell with me. I would rather be in hell and be with God, than be in heaven and remain away from God!”

The poor man taught that in self-surrender, in utter humility, is the simplest, surest, nearest way to God.

When asked who he was, he answered, “I am a king!”

He was the very picture of destitution: and yet he felt he was a king! For he had learnt to walk the way of acceptance. He accepted all that came his way and rejoiced in all that happened. He expected nothing: he hoped for nothing: he needed nothing: he lacked nothing. Was he not the richest of men on earth?

Don't Believe in Miracles-Depend on Them!

You don't need an explanation for everything.
Recognize that there are such things as miracles,
Events for which there are no explanations.
Later, knowledge may explain those events quite easily.

The fact that you can plant a seed and it becomes a flower,
Share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's,
Smile at someone and receive a smile in return are common miracles.
Your duty to yourself is to believe that for which you have sufficient evidence,
and to suspend your judgment when you have not.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Some things have to be believed to be seen.Vision is the art of seeing invisible things.

My Experience at Shirdi

Aum Sai Ram

Long time ago, at the beginning of eighteenth century a young bearded man with sparkling eyes took shelter in a mosque, in Shirdi Village (of Maharshtra State, In India). Nobody knew from where this stranger had come who hardly spoke a word and stayed there.

Gradually the curious villagers started offering food to the man, but he never asked anything from them. Sometimes he shared his food with the animals. His simple language of expresssion and his special power of solving the problems of poor needy and destitutes soon made this less known fakir, known as Shri Sai Baba.
Sai baba strongly believed in uniformity of religion and he never distinguished anyone on the basis of caste, creed or religion. He always made it a point not to return empty handed those who had come to him in their hour of need and grief. He performed miracles to alleviate the suffering of poor people. On one occasion he restored the eyes of a blind elderly and in another occasion he lighted a lantern with water when there was no oil to burn it.

As all good things have to end ultimately "Baba" also left his body on his own will on 15th Oct. 1918, leaving his millions of believers and followers crying. His body was laid in the Samadhi Mandir called "Booty", which he had asked his disciple to built before his death.

His most concise message for one and all alike was "Why fear when I am here". To take refuge in Sai, is to enter into a journey to reach the Divine Oasis of Love and drink deep from the Fountain of Life, the source of all Spiritual Energy. Wherever the devotee is, Baba makes him recognize within himself his highest aspirations and goal and at one stroke, his conduct and the attitude to fellow beings is touched with the awareness of love, understanding, patience and faith. This is the promise that Sri Sai Baba holds out to all who come to Him. Sri Sai Baba was beyond the limitations of Time and Space and thus caste, creed, position dogmas and doctrines were fundamentally unimportant to him. Nobody really knew his parentage, where he came from or which religion he practised. He claimed no possessions nor accepted any disciples or gave any specific teaching.

Amazingly, there are a phenomenally large number of Instances in which Sai Baba has been literally physically appearing before his devotees, even decades after his passing out of the physical body.Sai Baba is constantly and simultaneously proving that he is alive in spirit and responds to our sincere prayers. He is the One Spirit of all existence. Which is God in all the forms of God, in all the saints, in all the men and in all the creatures. All those who sincerely take to a life of inner development, Sai Baba lifts him to a higher level. Every one derives benefit according to the ripeness of his soul and in accordance with his inner yearning.Baba assured his devotees by his saying "I am at Shirdi and everywhere. Whatever you do, wherever you may be, ever bear this in mind, that I am always aware of everything". Sai Baba does not belong to any single tradition but to all mankind on the path of goodness, love and understanding.

I have just came back from shirdi N watever happened is a miracle for me ... I feel blessed may be it happens with so many others already but it was first time wiil me so sharing it with you. The moment i step in shirdi there was a immense feeling of devotion within me. I was very emotional the moment I saw samadhi mandir then we were sitting in the bhakta niwas waiting for a room to be allotted and suddenly a cat came, I don't know from where ? we all were sitting on the chairs she jumped over our lugguage and sat on cousin sister's lap for a second but my cousin forced her to sit there and she attacked her and immediately jumped over in my lap.

I was very scared for a moment as she attacked but then I thought may be BABA has came. so i have not said anything to her. she sat in my lap. We bought a cup of milk for her, so she went down drank it and then looked at me smiled as I was saying you will come here again and u would not believe she again jumped over the lugguage and sat in my lap. she slept like a small baby in my lap. Sai in My Breath!

Aum Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

Find the one that makes your heart smile. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Don't count the years -- count the memories. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!
