Nobody can progress in spiritual path by merely reading or listening to others or planning spiritual development as a time bound management concept. Any knowledge, which is not put into practice, is of no use. It is very difficult to put into practice the code of conduct we need in the spiritual path. For this faith and will power is quite necessary. It becomes possible and easier for the devotee to tread this path by complete surrender at Sri Sai's feet. One should never jump ahead being a worldly man to become a yogi, a siddha, a devotee, to awaken the Kundalini, to become liberated etc.
It would be gross stupidity to use these phrases without understanding their meanings. It is important to have unshakable faith in God and pray to Sri Sai continuously to reveal His form to us. We must also understand this fact that we are not the doer. It is necessary to do away with the sense of doer. This sense of being a doer emerges from our ego and diminishes very slowly.
