From 01st August 2011, the South Western Railway has started to run Weekly Express Special Trains between Mysore, Karnataka and Sai Nagar`Shirdi. The Service will be in run only for 7 weeks with 7 trips in each direction.

Train No 06201 Mysore, Karnataka - Sainagar, Shirdi Weekly Express
Departure: Mysore at 09:50 hrs on Mondays
(August 2011 - 01st, 08th, 15th, 22nd & 29th and September 2011 - 05th & 12th)
Arrival: Sainagar, Shirdi at 14:15 hrs on Tuesdays.
Train No 06202 Sainaga, Shirdi - Mysore, Karnataka Weekly Express
Departure: Sainagar, Shirdi at 15:30 hrs on Tuesdays
(August 2011 - 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd & 30th and September 2011 - 06th & 13th)
Arrival: Mysore at 22:55 hrs on Wednesdays.

Mandya, Ramanagaram, Kengeri, Bangalore City, Bangalore Cantonment, Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Guntakal, Bellary, Torangallu, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Badami, Bagalkot, Alamatti, Bijapur, Hotgi, Solapur, Kurdwadi, Daund, Ahmed Nagar, Belapur, Puntamba, Sainagar Shirdi.
The Weekly Express Special has total 20 coaches consisting of:
Two AC 2-tier coaches,
Two AC 3-tier coaches,
11 Second class sleepers
Three General second class coaches
Two Second class luggage-cum-brake vans.
