Aum Sairam

A woman of good birth had fallen on evil ways, but as she had inherited some good from her previous incarnation, she drew the notice of a holy man and after listening to His teachings, realized her own mistakes and sins. Filled with remorse, she once came to Sri Sai at Shirdi in Dwarkamai at the holy man's advice. She stood at the doorway of the prayer room full of diffidence about entering. Weeping all the while, she confessed all her sins before Sri Sai and cried "What will become of me, Sri Sai? I am not worthy of entering this holy Dwarkamai to be near you!"

Then Sri Sai came forward and placed His own pure arms around the woman's shoulders, lovingly said, "Come, my child, come into My Darbar, My Dwarkamai. You have realized what sin is, you have repented. Come in, I shall give you initiation. Lay everything at My feet what have you to fear?
